Outgrowing the spreadsheet
Like many growing air conditioning and refrigeration companies, Total Refrigeration Services (Totalrs) started out managing their workload the traditional way: a simple spreadsheet that tracked just the job and the price.
But as the volume of work increased, the administrative cracks began to show. The breaking point arrived with a costly realization: eight completed jobs had gone completely uninvoiced, buried and forgotten in a massive, unwieldy list. Worse, five additional jobs had slipped through the cracks and hadn't even been completed. It was clear that to continue growing and serving commercial clients reliably, the spreadsheet had to go.
